UncleMo
I was being serious. Thanks for the lashing, I was being serious. He could know nothing about PCs like my brother. I have to coach my brother over the dang phone as to "BE SURE YOU KNOW WHERE YOU DOWNLOADED IT" because as soon as he downloads something he asks me over the phone, uh where is it?!? Thanks for jumping in. And kindly calling me names. I was being serious with him/her.
rossmac7
what an *** never mind I know Kraw doesn't need my help but I really don't see any reason why he should have been called an [naught word]. His points were valid, I feel. There is a place for MVP 06 questions and the forums run smoother if questions are posted in the correct forum. Also your question is vague and it needs some clarification. Things like computer specs, any error messages, do you have certain EA patches installed, etc. Also I am not a moderator but I don't think language like that will be tolerated on these forums either. It is just a game...sit back and enjoy it.
AstroEric
Man, maybe releasing MVP 06 wasn't such a good idea. The boards seem to have been overrun by guys with one or two posts calling old modding veterans names and complaining. Way to be ungrateful. --Eric

Mynk88
With all due respect for the original poster, I am brand new to this board and had a question or two, and immediately posted in the "MVP 2005 General" thread, assuming it was the most broad. My questions had to do with what I needed as far as patches and such to use the MVP06 Living Large download. I got no response, and after searching for all of 2 minutes I found "The Official MVP 06 Thread", in which I found my answer in the first two pages. So I then deleted my post, realizing why sometimes the vets around here might get a little short with some posts. There's a lot, and I mean A LOT of information in this forum, and you just need to be a little patient and look around, something I was guilty of not doing. With this awesome release of "the mother of all mods", and the inevitable bombardment of questions, it's moreso important to keep things organized and try your best to find the proper thread. I know it's just a computer game, but to the baseball gamers this MVP06 is a really big deal.
slikkrikk
Great post Mynk. I bugged SwinginSoriano a LOT when I first started up here, and in hindsight I wish I would not have -- with a little patience, answers to everything can be found in the forum. There IS a TON of information here -- to the newbies, try to keep calm and take some time to look around before posting something that has been posted 50 times before. It's not that people don't like to help, I just think it gets a big maddening at times to try and answer every last question along with all the hardships of putting something like this together in the first place! Rob_Mopar
Cmon people show some class and give credit to these guys, they took time to make an excellent mod for MVP 2005. it's not easy work at all to put something like the 06 Mod together and i'm sure it's hard work and a lot of hours behind the keyboard. Those Mod guys did a lot of work to make this game even better for us MVP 05 Fans,They even have a website where we can dl files to improve the game, But yet you still bash and insult them. I don't speak for everyone but " you guys should be thankful that those Modders built a good mod for us fans to use, they could have chosen not to put it up on the board if they wanted to, But they are being nice about it. People who bash Modders or Moderators should be Banned. Great work on the Mod guys it's excellent and it makes MVP 2005 all that more enjoyable to play. Now if only i can finish more than 1 season without starting all over to add new files to the game

As someone who recently got into a spat with a new member, and someone annoyed by garbage like dgg and pirates, I have to disagree with this statement. Members who just join and flame people just need to be set straight, and for the most part, they are. We haven't had someone actually become a normal member after starting out poorly since, well, me I guess. The children normally move on, so it's not a problem. Banning them only makes things worse. They just need to go through the "correction" procedure.

UncleMo
Joern, I believe you still have the ati radeon 9200. You need to make all of your uniforms to be Umachines. If that doesn't fix it, you need to make all of your stadiums default ones.
krawhitham
try they grass changer before going back to the default stadiums, some of the grass textures are large
