djjoe
I also need a new video card, and after asking for help, its obvious that everyone who owns this card just loves it.Its been recommended to me by several people, even though I cant afford it and will have to buy a less expensive card. You cannot go wrong with this card. Also, check out newegg for good prices and owner reviews. slikkrikk
Wow, if you need a video card for this game only then there are a lot of cheaper options than that one.

The only games I play on PC are MVP and GTA: San Andreas. Could you recommend a good card for both those games?
eber
The only games I play on PC are MVP and GTA: San Andreas. Could you recommend a good card for both those games? How much do you want to spend? If you're looking budget, a Ti-4200 would be suitable. I believe it's a DX8 card though and GTA is DX9, but it should be able to run fine but without all the eye candy. Look up at the thread I started in Tech Talk and look at the comparison benchmarks. Anything above the Ti-4200 should be good, but the prices (along with redundant performance for playing GTA and MVP) will continue to go up from there. Best bang-for-you- buck card out there is probably the 6600GT which can be found for a little over $100 with or without rebates nowadays. Edit: Oh, and eBay could yield you a mid-range card, a la 9800 PRO/9700 PRO for good sub-$100 cards.
thespungo
I have a Radeon 9200se Atlantis card right now, 128 mb. I want a card that will improve upon those graphics, and i'd be willing to spend upwards of $125.
eber
6600GT Anything I've listed will be an upgrade to your 9200SE.
