jchorneau
On my '06 Beta that I have installed, I find, across the board, the pitching to be difficult. It is very hard to throw a strike. The sliders for user pitch meter difficutly is cranked down all the way (-50) and the user pitcher control I put up to 50, and still have probems. I have only a brown stripe, no green to pitch for on the meter. Any suggestions? thanks

slikkrikk
Kraw -- is there any chance that there can be a datafile released that has all the features of this current datafile with a more generous pitch meter? If there is already something like this, could you please direct me to it? Thanks very much.

A negative number will only make it harder to pitch.

rows24
Yeah adjust the slders. Dont cahnge anything for the next version. I thought it was difficult to pitch but its really not. Justs takes a littlle practice. I feel doing anything else will make the game unrealistic. If you learn how to use your pitches in the count the computer will put the ball in play and you will get them out or if good enough strike them out and give walks. That is realistic . If you you could pinpoint every pitch there would be no challenge.

SwinginSoriano
Well, I solved my problem like many by just plugging in the old datafile. If you don't like it, just go back on your EA CD and get the old file back.

If you don't like it, just go back on your EA CD and get the old file back. I would like to find something in the middle, personaly. Adjusting the sliders doesn't do anything if it does increase the green, it isn't noticeable.
Hoop27
I've been playing around with the sliders for a few days now. and I should be able to release a decent slider set for the guys having pitcher trouble. Give me a couple hours and I'll post it on a new thread, with any luck it will help out some people with their pitching.

jchorneau
Thanks, I play around with the sliders and keep the mod, not switch back to the old installation.
