alpro
I am new here this evening. Can someone tell me if there is a fix for mvp patch 5? If so where do I find it and where do I go to see your response.
medric822
go into the program files for MVP 2K5 go to the data folder, and move the stadiums folder, the models big, and the profile big to a safe place, preferabily the desktop. Then delete the entire MVP folder from the hard drive, including the recycle bin. Then re-download the game. place these saved files back into the game files, and your set to go! klon122
Medric, that was rude and uncalled for. alpro, how can there be a fix for a patch? (Settle down, BF2 players ) Do you mean "is there a new patch out yet?" The answer is no. Patch five is probably the final patch for MVP 2005. If you mean MVP 06, the community-made mod for the PC version of 2005, look around. The mod has its own sub-forum. Did you know 2K Sports has the exclusive third-party rights to MLB? This means that only 2K, Sony (Playstations), Microsoft (for XBox and X360), and Nintendo, first party devs, are the only ones that can publish their own MLB games. Yes, these are console-related companies; because 2K will use its exclusive MLB license only for consoles, there will be no new MLB-licensed games anytime soon for PC. RBaggio10
Medric, that was rude and uncalled for. How was that rude and/or uncalled for? His solution would work. It would keep all the stadium files and some others that he may have modded and when he reinstalls the game, he can put them back.
