bhutsell Posted April 3, 2006 Share Posted April 3, 2006 I did a rough CAD version of the park, and it looks like it would take a shot of about 575' to hit a ball out on a path over the LF bullpen and bleachers (just to the right of the LF decks). So, unless Albert starts hanging out with the BALCO bunch, I don't think it'll happen. But it would be nice to be proven wrong. It would take about 550' to take one down the LF line, but then you'd have to clear the roof. Guess it could happen in MVP... Well, looks like it is possible that I was proven wrong, on the first day of BP...but I doubt it. The gates open at 4:00, so I'll be taking pics for the first couple of hours. I have an older Sony F707 digital camera (top of the line back when it came out), but the largest memory stick it will take is 128MB, so I'll be constantly running back and forth to the parking garage to unload it onto my laptop (Ltop battery died on me, have to run it off truck battery...). I've got a newer Fuji I'll be loading up, too. I'll try to re-shoot everything when the sun goes down for the night version. If I miss out on anything, I should be able to get access to the open house this weekend. I wish I had a little experience with stadium modding, so I'd know how you will piece it together. If the ad is shot straight on, the corners are pretty close to right angles I will cut it out and set it aside. I will then got to the next ad and do the same. If the ads are next to each other I will cut them out and paste them back to gether to get the corners as straight as possible. What I really need is the Ads at the bottom of the main Scoreboard. The rotate and change I only need on phase. I think it is Best Buy and some Harley shop and Casino Queen. I also need the out of town scoreboard. The ads on the top and bottom that are between The American TV and Schnucks ads and the AG EDwards and other investment ad. As well as the big yellow strip ad below that. I also need the ads above the wall in left field and next to the right field bullpen. I need the new Hardees ad on the wall and the other wall ads. Finally the ads behind the plate. Thanks so much.
