superdee
I want to start a career as a pitcher and play wherever things take me. I only wish to play with him. In other words I will sim all other aspects of the game except for when my player is physically on the mound. What setups in reference to the type of league do you think I can consider. Is dynasty the only option? Is there any other way? Could I be traded and still play somewhere else? What other options? Thanks.
medric822
you cannot be traded unless you trade yourself, and then you cant play yourself.
Hollywood70
Would it be possible to create a new profile with a different team specified as "favorite", and then conintue a dynasty with the new profile?

superdee
well... I guess I could possibly if I were to be either fired or took on a different team after my contract was up as a manager and then subsequently traded myself to that new team... what do you think of that? sustorm
I would just do it through dynasty because it would be too hard to do in owner mode and not get canned, though, what never made sense about that is that how can you be fired as an owner, anyway, i would do it that way. Just create your guy and put him on the team you want, mess around with the roster, then save it and start the dynasty with default rosters off. Sounds like a really cool idea though, never thought of that. Good luck!
DarkEnigma510
I tried doing this once but didn't get far but it's best to try it with a pitcher where you can just pick the games you'll be starting and sim the rest. Also, you may want to consider using automatical fielding (since as the pitcher you can't control what your fielders do behind you), and maybe switch to CPU vs CPU every time your time is batting, because again, you can't control how your team hits when you pitch. It takes a little work but it can definitely be done, and its quite fun.
