stuckinasquare3 Posted February 26, 2006 Share Posted February 26, 2006 i wanted to host a direct IP but it says my ip address is 192.168 etc. the ip of a linksys router. If i give the person tryin to join that IP it doesn't work...if i go to like whatsmyip and give them that IP it doesn't work. I had the same problem hosting. i just turned the damn firewall off when I played Madden online though I would think that there are many better ways to go about it. five Posted February 26, 2006 Share Posted February 26, 2006 Go to whatismyip.com to find out your real ip # and don't worry about the game showing up as the internal one.
