GoChiefs
Juan Gonzalez joins baseball's historic 500 Home Run Club. Juando in action. He got the fat part of the bat on that ***** and drove it into right center. LA's Jeff Weaver gave up historic blasts #499 and #500 in the same game. Commemorative wallpapers now available in several formats, including Modern and Cooperstown.

HardcoreLegend
I thought we were talking about Puerto Rico native Juan Gonzalez. A story in Sunday's Periodico El Nuevo Dia de Puerto Rico claimed the White Sox were one of a small group of teams that had expressed interest in free agent outfielder Juan Gonzalez. On Wednesday, a source in the White Sox organization said the team was not interested in the slugger with 434 career home runs, who had exactly one at-bat with Cleveland in 2005 because of a hamstring injury, but stated in the article that he's in the best physical condition of his life. ravens12
I don't. I've never seen such a slacker on the field in my whole life! Witnessed him play several games in Arlington...one in which he hit 3 homers in one game. He should have easily already gotton to 500 home runs, but just didn't seem to care enough...getting "injured" in K.C. the 1st game a couple years ago and sitting out the entire year. What a loafer...
UncleMo
I thought he'd be a hall of famer, but he got hurt too much. I bought a ton of his cards thinking he'd be a HOF player. H used to be my absolute favorite, but I strongly suspect steriods so I've since backed off. Plus he gets hurt every year. My freind at work and I bet (no money involved) how many games he would last in 2005. I think he got hurt before he even played the first game of the season! I thought that was real funny.
