moarobb
Surprising with my Red Sox dynasty it is Mark Loretta. I have him bat second. He moves runners very well, setting the table for Ortiz and Ramirez. When the bottom of the order gets on, he drives in runs. He has only 3 errors in the field. He has been a pleasant surprise. Pitching has been Urbina...I picked him via a trade and with the datafile I am using, he has been solid as a setup man. Man this game is a ball. Tomackze
I agree, Julio Franco always comes through in the clutch for me also. But as for a starter it'd have to be Carlos Beltran with his 30+ HRs and 50+ SB
RBaggio10
I have to say that my clutch player was...at tie between Ortiz and Rocco Baldelli.

RBaggio10
Of course. He usually hits around 45+ hrs and 120(give or take some). Where as baldelli is more like 30+ hrs 90+ rbi and 30+ sb
yourhomiejosh
In my old Cubs dynasty, Todd Walker was hitting .392 with 24 homers at the break. Sammy Sosa was hitting .340-something with 38 homers. As far as pitchers go, most of my rotation was crazy. Maddux was 10-1 with a 1.90-something ERA. LaTroy Hawkins had 20 saves with 10 wins (a bit much for a closer). Yes, I'm playing on PS2 and I'm playing with the original rosters. For some reason I can't get my connection to work for my PS2.
RaptorQuiz
I played a Cardinals dynasty for quite a few "years" into the future and I kept Edmonds around simply because, for some reason, I always managed to pull off that dramatic hit or homer or whatever with him. Pujols is, of course, still around, but the other "big ones" like Rolen and Carpenter and Mulder all eventually fell by the wayside to younger players with increasing stats - but I kept Edmonds until he finally retired at like 41 or 42 because I always managed to jerk one outta the park with him when I really needed it.
