Bobblehead
Fellas, I don't know if this has come up before...but I wonder if it were possible to have a roof that closes at MMP. Also I've noticed that during the hottest part of the summer in Houston, the game announcers usually announce temperatures in the 60's or 70's...very unacurate. I don't know if temperature even plays a factor in the game...but it should cause fatigue to kick in quicker!! Thanks...cheers!!
HardcoreLegend
I sure would like if someone could OEdit one into Minute Maid. That'd be the version I always use.
friar
I don't know how to make it open and shut depending on temp, but I bet I could shut the roof in Oedit. Maybe I'll try this as a side project, if I can find time .
kgbaseball
That would be awesome. Could you do it for Miller Park, too? (if it doesnt have open and closed options already)
friar
Miller would be really tough because it doesn't have the sections of the roof - just the two canopys. For MMP it's just a matter of pulling the sections into place. For Miller they'd have to be built from scratch. It's possible with removable, though. AstroEric
Don't forget you have to put the glass up in the outfield on Minute Maid too. --Eric
HardcoreLegend
If someone wants my opinion on how to do Minuite Maid, here it is. Use the new removable.o trick, taking all the files that point to the massive 1024x1024 graphic in cram32. Line them all up along what would be the top of the outfield wall, thus creating the glass. Move the graphics editor for all of those verts overtop the area on the bmp that you put the glass graphic on. Then grey out that spot on the alpha. It's alot of work, but that should atleast create the glass wall.
