createbaseball
I have decide to make the jump into stadium modding....with GENEROUS help from all the gods of stadium modding on this site (you know who they are). This is a work in progress. I want to take some good hi-res shots of the stadium this spring and really work in a lot of the details of this park, making it as accurate as possible. I am HOPING for some help from the community to finish this park with some things I am not able to get a handle on, including wall and collision.dat and also hopefully getting rid of that light ficture glow. i cant wait for spring man. Pirate
In net.orl and .ord compile them like mstadium to be an o file. In the new net.o file is the light glow. Just move it where needed or turn it off! By the way looking great!

createbaseball
thanks for the encouragement guys....like the gurus said, it really is a SLOW process. Thanks Pirate for the light glow help! that will be great....I am tinkning I might make a night version too, so I wanted to know where I could get access to that glow. I will beg for SeanO's help for the wall/coll.dat help before its release!
Pirate
That collision data is no fun but he can give you some pointers.
Sean O
1). Open wall.dat in microsoft word. This will neatly align everything into 3 columns, which you can probably guess is x, y, and z respectively. 2). Open up your mstadium.o file. I would suggest using some symmetrical, easy stadium, something like spring training stadium 3 which just has 3 straight walls. 3). select the specific part # that contains a wall section, and write down the approximate x and z locations of that point. 4). in wall.dat, look for that vertex location and find the exact x and z numbers. 5). change every instance in the file for that vertex. it usually ranges between 6 and 8 entries, but it varies. 6). back in mstadium.o, move the original vertex to where you changed it to. 7). rinse, and repeat. Some little things. What I normally do is look for all of the points I need to change and type them down in notepad, along with the points I'm changing it to. Then I move all of the points in mstadium, and finally do all the changes in wall.dat. oedit's measurement is in inches, so a 9' wall is 108 in the program. ------------ It looks good, keep up the good work. I'm glad we'll soon have 3 of the 5 eastern league stadiums, since AA in the northeast is pretty darn fun. Wilkes-Barre would be a fun project for someone to take on, based on the Vet. createbaseball
thanks Sean.....it seems like I will be able to do that. Usually my face turns pale and I break out in a cold sweat whenever I see numbers! I will let you know if I hit a snag...
