lautrec
OK, I've searched the site, and I just cannot find any information on a player ratings spreadsheet or something to that effect. Is there such a thing? I'm trying to scout for a 3rd baseman, and it's really slow to go through the ratings one at a time, to see who does what. Is there some way to export the ratings, compile them to a spreadsheet? Thanks.
Kriegz
MVP Sav Reader? Why can't you just look at the ratings in the game?
lautrec
well, I can look at them in the game, I was just thought it would be nice if there were some sort of spread sheet, that laid out all the ratings, of all the players in each league. Like a side by side comparison. Maybe I'm asking too much.
krawhitham
MVP Sav Reader will lay the ratings out, all ratings for one player per screen
forn03
I'd say your best bet is to just open the .dat file with Excel or something of that sort. Unless you're in a dynasty that has created players, because as far as I know (and I might be wrong) we don't know how to extract rosters from dynasty or owner mode. lautrec
thanks for the responses. I do know that the ratings can be had with the MVP Sav Reader, which is a very nice utility, however, I was just trying to find some way o compare, say, all the 3rd basemen in the league. Some way to compare them side by side, see who can do what, and make decisions from that angle. I did try open the attrib.dat file,,,,,,but holy cow, that's for really computer saavy people, I think. It opens, but who can heads or tails out of that!?! Krawhitam's advice is probably the best from me at this point. Thanks anyway...great community, great site. Everything a guy could want for a fine baseball game!
