frankr
I am going to try to install the SS rosters that are posted in the download. The readme file mentions: "2. Open up epic.mbe" When I look in the folder there is no file by that name, but there is: EpicMVP06.mbe or EpicEAfaces.mbe Which one does he mean? Also futher down in the readme file it says: "1. Copy/cut epic.sav file (Ctrl + C)" When I look in the folder there is no file by that name, but there is: Epic_Rosters.sav or Epic2005version_Roster.sav Which one does he mean? If someone could post the contents of the readme file with the correct file names filled in, that would be great.
SwinginSoriano
2005 is for an unmodded MVP 2005, MVP06 is for those who have installed MVP 06 or have a BigSchmooz's models.big. You simply choose one of the files, (use a .sav if you are a beginner), cut/copy the file, and paste it in your My documents > MVP 2005 folder. Then when you start the game, you can go to manage rosters, and open the roster up from there. The .mbe and database folder are simply other options of installation, I included three to give people as many options as possible.
frankr
OK just to be very clear about this I have an Un-modified version of MVP2005 so I take it I should use: EpicEAfaces.mbe in the step that says: "2. Open up epic.mbe" and I should use: Epic2005version_Roster.sav in the step that says: "1. Copy/cut epic.sav file (Ctrl + C)" Can you confirm that this is correct? SwinginSoriano
Don't bump topics here, that'll turn the admins against you in a hurry! Just do simply what the readme says, you have a selection of 1 out of 3. Since you probably would not want to learn MVPedit, just cut and paste the .sav file or the database folder (not both) in the location provided. frankr
I think we are getting somewhere now. Let's say I want to cut and paste the .sav file My question is this: There are two .sav files in the folder, if I want the most current 2006 rosters for the game which file should I use? Epic_Rosters.sav or Epic2005version_Roster.sav ?
SwinginSoriano
If you have downloaded MVP 06, use the regular epic rosters. (Because it assigns modder made cyberface numbers.) Epic rosters 2005 are for those without a modded MVP 2005 game. Any more questions? :)
