mrmariner
Good luck, and I hope the ball finds your bat.
Pirate
That's pretty neat will they have temporary fences set up? I know at our HS back in the 90's our ballpark had a center field depth of 345 with a 16 foot wall. It was a nice park for highschool. Grass infield. Grass infields are rare until you get to high school...at least where I live.
NYM
Our HS homefield sucks. It's muddy the grass sucks, and there are no fences.
northpaw
no fake fences its just plain minute maid. we won today in the bottom of the last innning. 345 is so unbelievabley small for hs its insane. our field is extremely nice and its 315 in the corners and 375 in the allies. also, all i do at my hs is pitch so hopefully the ball doesnt find the bat. also, they dont let us walk on the grass unless were playing. and we had to wait until 10 mins bfore the game to even throw on the grass...but i picked some and its in my pocket as i type. overall, not as aweinspiring as when i played at the braves spring training stadium. now that was awesome.
