MVP Baseball 2005 > MVP Baseball 2006 101

Sorry to be such a "noob," but I'm hopelessly overwhelmed here. :(

I currently have MVP Baseball 2005 for the PC and a compatible controller. After thumbing through the forums and downloads [which are all great], I don't know where to start. :?

Basically, I'm looking to see if the following are possible or existing "mods" to the stock MVP Baseball 2005:

Updated Rosters

* Accurate Player Rosters from A - MLB and lineups/rotations

* Cyber-Faces for each player

* Accurate Portraits for each player

* 2005 Statistics

* Updated Player ages

* Updated Player Attributes

Schedule

* Updated MLB schedule for 2006

I've downloaded the "Livin' Large" MLB 2006 mod and installed it. However, I noticed that players didn't have 2005 stats and that they were all a year younger than what they actually are.

I certainly don't mean to come off as being ungrateful because the LL mod is ridiculously awesome - even in it's beta infancy. 8)

As for the CTS screens, music, camera angles, etc., I'd consider them more of "luxury" mods to further enhance the game.

Are any of these options available even as seperate downloads? Also, while I have the stock game setup and ready to go, should I update to the newest version (Official EA patch) or just sit on the out-of-the-box game for now?

Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

I wonder that too.. does it make a diffrence whether you use the latest patch from EA or not?

the standard rule of thumb right now is use patch #3 or #5 to help with the stuttering.
