Pirate
Anyway to make a daytime version of this? It certainly could be done.

HardcoreLegend
This stadium is basically done, but I've really been holding off waiting to know how to make the scoreboard 'working'. Anyone have any idea?
gmd54
Any date, to when it will be released ???
HardcoreLegend
Not until I get the scoreboard working. If that never happens, it won't ever be released. It's that simple.
HardcoreLegend
Hyman? Anyone? Just want to know how to get a scoreboard that is supposed to work....to work.
MarlinsMY
Try replacing the "tanim.csv" file in the stadium .big file with the one from Yankee Stadium. It may do the trick if the scoreboard numbers have the same part names. I don't know Metropolitan Stadium very well, but I have to say that shot looks fantastic. HardcoreLegend
I'll try that when I get home.
HardcoreLegend
I opened up the tanim.csv for metnite.big and the problem is that the 'event name' for the 29 availible scoreboard slots reads "SCOREBOARD_VEO" . The geometry reads "LS" instead of something along the lines as "LS0Shape" as appears in Ebbets.
Royal Blues
I pm'ed paulw about this a little while back, and he told me to have you pm Hyman who should be able to help you. I pm'ed you about this right after I got the response from paul, but I'm guessing you didn't get it (it was during all the slow/downtime the site was experiencing). I appreciate your help. He was able to direct me to where I am now. I basically have to fill in those values, however I'm not exactly sure what values go where. HardcoreLegend
Well, I never got the scoreboard to work so I basically gave up hope. What I did do is some recoloring of the crowd, as well as some cleaning up of stuff on the field. Not sure if I want to add the 'Twins' behind homeplate, as it wasn't there in the 60s, which is the preferred era.
HardcoreLegend
Whose grass am I using here? I'm thinking about actually releasing this (might add the distance markers) and was wanting to contact whoever this is to ask for it's use. stecropper
HardcoreLegend, If at all possible please get this out so we can include it in the upcoming TC64 full season mod that should be uploading by this weekend. We are finishing up the final testing this week. Thanks, Don
Jim825
I'd love to include this as well in an upcoming update to the '78 season mod.
HardcoreLegend
It's done. I've added the outfield distance signs I've always wanted to add and now all we need to know is 'Whose grass did I use here?!?!'
Sean O
I'd take a wild guess and say paulw made that grass. It's in all of his parks, seems to have originated in his parks, and follows his general style. I'd say it's about 99.9% certain.
HardcoreLegend
Hmm. Maybe I could get someone to put together a 'field' graphics set for this stadium. I don't want to just rip off his grass graphics (they are STUNNING).

I don't want to just rip off his grass graphics (they are STUNNING). They really are. Paul is my partner in crime, and though I don't speak for him, I highly doubt he'd be offended at you including his work with proper accolades. There's no other classic grass that comes close, so it's for the good of the community. You can always fire off a PM to him to make sure, but my impression of paul is that using something like that to further a classic ballpark with recognition would be great. HardcoreLegend
Figured I would bump this now that I've finally released it. Based on this timetable, expect me to finish the 60's Fulton County Stadium in sometime in March, Busch Stadium 60's sometime around Christmas '08 and Shea early 2010.
