MarkB
I imagine that if you connect the DVR box to your PC, you will be able to transfer your recorded files to the PC and play them on that, or burn to a DVD or whatever else you may wish to do with them. MarkB
A USB cable, for a start. It should say in your user manual.
AgentQ16
Hey, I have been doing this for awhile now...but it's not as easy as you would think. 1st, I believe you must have a firewire port, not a USB port to be able to transfer files efficiently to your PC. Basically, i record on my DVR (HD programming too), transfer it real time to my PC with a freeware program (see link bleow) via firewire cable and then it records the program onto my PC in .ts file format. Then you have to use another freeware program (see link) to convert that into TS folders and ISO files that your DVD burning program (I use NERO) can understand. Then I burn them onto a DVD to play in any DVD player. It takes a LONG time. I would recommend getting a video card with TV record capabilities instead. I wish it was more simple. But, you can read all the directions here: http://replayguide.sourceforge.net/dct6412/index.html READ this part VERY slowly. lol http://replayguide.sourceforge.net/dct6412...2_capture_using Freeware program to change .ts files into TS folders and ISO files: http://www.svcd2dvd.com/HDTV2DVD/
