Go Tribe
I bought the 1995 Baseball Almanac to help Hory with the 1994 Mod - it contains EVERY minor league player, their stats, attributes, etc from 1994. My question is, how do you go about determining a player's mvp CAP based on one year of minor league statistics? Is there an easy way? or even a hard way? thanks
SwinginSoriano
Opinion is a method, there hasn't been a proven formula yet. Krawhitham was trying make an excel sheet that converted stats into ratings though.
Hory
G Force was working on a prospect creator spreadsheet a while ago, there's a link in this forum thread here http://mvpmods.com/index.php?name=Forums&f...t=7811&start=90 - It looks pretty complex... KySteveH
The prospect creator looks complicated, but actually is easy. GF did all the work; you just fill in the data. Works really well, IMHO. I just wish I had some idea about pitchers. The fact that control and movement are different for each pitch really makes it tough.
SwinginSoriano
Some guy just made an excel sheet that rates speed. It works nicely.
