Hollywood70
I was just playing a game in my Tigers franchise... August 20th, 2009, Detroit at Seattle.. Shane Loux pitched a perfect 3 innings, and then in the top of the 4th Ichiro hit a screaming line drive up the middle. Clearly a single, but the ball was booted by Nook Logan in center field and Ichiro ended up on 3rd. Inexplicably, the play was ruled an error and NOT a hit. Loux went on to finish the game without giving up any more hits, thus registering a no-hitter as far as the game is concerned. After over 4 seasons of playing roughly 70% of all the games, getting a no-no this way just sucks. Thanks for listening, I just needed to share.
mrmariner
I have noticed the same thing, there is no hit with a error. It is always ruled a error, even though it was a hit and then the error was commited. High Heat would flash on the screen something like: Single with a error. tebjr
Along the same lines, I have hit countless inside-the-park homers, and there is always an error on the play, whether there really is or not. They'll give me a double with a error. Never have they gave me the homer.
Yankee4Life
High Heat would flash on the screen something like: Single with a error. Don't mention that game. I miss that a lot.

mrmariner
Sometimes late in the game like 8th inning, down by a run, my 9th hitter leads off with a single. Up comes Ichiro and I have him bunt, which is a perfect one down the third baseline, easy beat out, but Ichiro does not get credit for a hit!! Another flaw. DustinTheWin
whenever i bunt it counts as a hit as long as the pitcher or catch throws it away...normally if my bunts get to the third baseman he will usually throw it away
Pirate
I get errors when the ball is hit up the middle and the pitcher fais to make a play on it. That ticks me off. Solid hit up the middle... no contact by pitcher and it's an error.
