I.Am.Canadian
I'm going to reformat my hard drive, and then hopefully reinstall the OS. I just want to verify that I will be able to do this without a lot of pain. If I format the hard drive, will my PC be able to read from a CD (Windows XP)? Please let me know soon! edm
Most recent computers can boot from the cd, older pc's however need to boot from a floppy. Go into your bios and see if booting from your cd-rom is an option.
Kccitystar
Yeah to add on to what EDM said, Try to change the order in which the devices are booted from. Make sure your CDROM drive is booting first.
