ChiefWahoo
There's a Radio Shack config file in the Downloads section, but it didn't work for me. Copy & paste the text I've included below into the top of the controller.cfg file in your C:Documents and Settings<username>My DocumentsMVP Baseball 2005 folder: profile= USB_Dual_Vibration_Joystick device= USB_Dual_Vibration_Joystick player= 2 number_of_buttons= 12 number_of_povs= 1 number_of_axis= 4 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_START= button 10 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_SELECT= button 9 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_CROSS= button 3 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_CIRCLE= button 2 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_SQUARE= button 4 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_TRIANGLE= button 1 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_L1= button 7 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R1= button 8 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_L2= button 5 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R2= button 6 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_L3= button 11 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R3= button 12 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_DPAD_UP= pov0 1 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_DPAD_DOWN= pov180 1 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_DPAD_LEFT= pov270 1 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_DPAD_RIGHT= pov90 1 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_L_STICK_RIGHT= axis- 1 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_L_STICK_LEFT= axis+ 1 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_L_STICK_UP= axis+ 2 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_L_STICK_DOWN= axis- 2 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_RIGHT= axis- 4 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_LEFT= axis+ 4 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_UP= axis+ 3 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_DOWN= axis- 3 VPAD_PITCH_1= button 3 VPAD_PITCH_2= button 2 VPAD_PITCH_3= button 4 VPAD_PITCH_4= button 1 VPAD_PITCH_5= button 8 VPAD_FIELD_PICK_OFF_THROW_FIRST= button 2 VPAD_FIELD_PICK_OFF_THROW_SECOND= button 1 VPAD_FIELD_PICK_OFF_THROW_THIRD= button 4 VPAD_PITCH_OUT= button 3 VPAD_THROW_BALL= not_assigned -1 VPAD_INTENTIONAL_WALK= button 12 VPAD_INTENTIONAL_HITBATTER= button 11 VPAD_PITCH_HISTORY_OPEN= button 11 VPAD_SWING_NORMAL= button 3 VPAD_SWING_BUNT= button 12 VPAD_CHARGE_MOUND= button 1 VPAD_FIELD_THROW_FIRST= button 2 VPAD_FIELD_THROW_SECOND= button 1 VPAD_FIELD_THROW_THIRD= button 4 VPAD_FIELD_THROW_HOME= button 3 VPAD_FIELD_SWITCH= button 7 VPAD_FIELD_RELAY_THROW= button 6 VPAD_FIELD_CUTOFF_THROW= button 6 VPAD_FIELD_FAKE_RUNDOWN_THROW= button 8 VPAD_RUNNER_FIRST_SELECT= button 2 VPAD_RUNNER_SECOND_SELECT= button 1 VPAD_RUNNER_THIRD_SELECT= button 4 VPAD_RUNNER_RUNFIRST= pov90 1 VPAD_RUNNER_RUNSECOND= pov0 1 VPAD_RUNNER_RUNTHIRD= pov270 1 VPAD_RUNNER_RUNHOME2SCORE= pov180 1 VPAD_BASERUNNER_ADVANCEALL= button 7 VPAD_BASERUNNER_RETREATALL= button 8 You should also check under Game Controllers in the XP Control Panel to verify that your controller is called "USB Dual Vibration Joystick". If its named something else you will need to change the profile & device names in the config file to reflect that.
ChiefWahoo
Also, just to give credit where credit is due... I got my info from klon122 in this thread: http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?name=Foru...ght=radio+shack However, I had to edit a few lines to get right analog slides to work correctly. ChiefWahoo
Hold down L1, then click the left analog. Click the right to intentionally walk.

Yeah, me too... for both last year's version and '06 with the ps2 from Radio Shack, the right analog stick doesn't get mapped correctly. You have to manually remap them in the controller.cfg file. I believe everything needs to be shifted 45 degrees to the right. (ex. left becomes up, up becomes right, etc.)

If you have the ps2 radio shack converter, just copy and paste these lines into your controller.cfg: VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_RIGHT= axis- 4 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_LEFT= axis+ 4 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_UP= axis+ 3 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_DOWN= axis- 3 That is taken directly from mine. Dan21tn
What are the lines I should alter if I want to change the Right analog control to the correct settings, on a Saitek Rumbleforce 2500 controller? I was gunna make a new thread but I didn't want to make the mods angry ; ) The problem with my right analog is that all the slides are backwards, I gotta do everything the opposite way and I kinda forget which direction equals what slide sometimes. Anyone able to help? Its pretty playable but it makes knocking the catcher over on close plays nearly impossible, I always pull off some girly slide instead of raming him down ; ) eh I ll just try it whats the worst that can happen, made a backup neway lol I worry way to much mine are currently VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_RIGHT= axis- 3 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_LEFT= axis+ 3 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_UP= axis+ 4 VPAD_VIRTUAL_BUTTON_R_STICK_DOWN= axis- 4 which cannot be right!! Thanks for the tip on changing them guys, will deffinetly try now ; )

Dan21tn
Very strange berger, maybe we are using different controllers mines a saitek 2500 rumbleforce. Anyway I tried the settings that indyford suggested, and now the game is perfect! I just walked like 20 people and switched between cpu and me for teams, just to have fun knocking the catcher down lol. Good stuff, thanks indyford you rock!
