sodo_mojo Posted March 26, 2006 Share Posted March 26, 2006 After loading up MVP 2005 on my computer just a few days ago and installing the MVP 06 mod, I wanted to see if I could do some of my own modding. Here is my attempt at a King Felix face. I don't know, it looks okay, but not one of those ones where you know you got it. I might take a shot at making a Kenji Johjima face also. edit: And Mods, I will fix my sig soon to meet the requirements. I suggest someone with fatter face and round shape one. It would be nice to see the team have some guts and move Ich to CF and keep Petagine around for bench/1b/dh. I am in the Tri-cities, so I can't make it to too many games. And plus, I am student. But I usually make it to a couple games a year. Last year I made it a point to see Felix start, and it was really fun to see the crowd truly cheer for the team again. Back to the issues of faces, I made a Johjima face for practice and this is how it turned out. I won't release these two faces because I am just not ready for that. It will take me a lot more practice to actually make something worthwhile. After seeing the guy play, it is a little off (mostly the head shape). Sodo, nice first couple cracks. I think your Felix face has some potential. I particularly like the eyes, they look to be spot on. Keep up the good work from a fellow Mariner guy. He had low strikeout rates in Japan so possibly that'll convert to success in the majors. I think he knows more English at this point than Ichiro does and thats pretty sad (on Ichiro's side). The M's have been hazing the heck out of the poor guy (mostly Eddie Guardado) and he seems to be fitting in very well. On the bright side, Joh doesn't even have to be very good to be the best catcher we've had in years. If he can be average, its a huge improvment. The model is the most important part I think. The texture looks good but the model is skinny.
