Will I be able to run this game smoothly???

I want to run this game without any lag.

Here's what I got....

Manufacturer : HP Pavilion 725n

Mainboard : Asus A7N8X-LA

Bios : American Megatrends Inc.

Chipset : nVidia nForce2 IGP

Processor : AMD Athlon XP @ 2000 MHz

Physical Memory : 768 MB DDR-SDRAM

Video Card : Nvidia Corp GeForce 6800 [NV40.1]

Hard Disk : Maxtor 4R080L0 (82 GB, ATA interface) ***though I'm upgrading to a fast running 300 GB drive in a few days***

CD-Rom Drive : LITE-ON LTR-48246S

DVD-Rom Drive : ATAPI DVDROM 16X

Network Card : Nvidia Corp nForce MCP-T Networking Adapter

Operating System : Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition 5.01.2600 Service Pack 2

DirectX : Version 9.0c

Any help is greatly appreciated.

What if I want to max out the settings? Is my set-up still good enough???

I hate to sound smug but: try it out and see. If you notice the performance isn't to your liking, then you should lower your settings.

Anyway, thanks for the tip. I havent bought it yet so I cant test it at the moment. I'm probably buying it in a few days. I've been browsing this site recently to check out all the 2006 Mod stuff.

Just to let you guys know....THIS SITE ROCKS!!!!!! I cant wait until I download the Camden Yards patch with new rosters.

your setup their is pretty close to what I'm running so you shouldn't have any issues running it on high (though I do turn my 3d crowd to low)
