KSM datafiles -- Weird graphical problem

I've tried a few different datafiles (MaddiesDaddy, Jim825's combo, the ones Kraw posted for MVP06), and I've never seen this problem except with KSM's datafiles.

Here are some screenshots after I installed the new KSM MBCM Overlay/DATAFILE V4+ overlay/datafile. The problem happens whenever there are runners on base. Basically, there's a big ol' green triangle in the sky over center field! With nobody on base, everything works fine.

I made sure to read the Install.txt instructions and followed them. I installed with PIP On, though I see the same problems after installing with PIP Off. I remember trying one of KSM's other datafiles a while back, and I encountered the same graphical issue.

Doesn't anybody else see these problems with batting cams 2-5? Cams 1 & 6 work just fine for me. I'm using a Radeon 9100 (basically an 8500), and don't have any problem running the game smoothly at 1280x1024.

Does anybody know what's causing this? What's interesting is that when in the camera select screen, everything looks fine when switching between cameras. But as soon as I resume playing the game, the glitch shows up.

Thanks for responding, goldendomer. Its good to know I'm not the only one seeing this. Just like you, I wish we could figure out what's causing it.

The other problem I noticed -- while I've got runner PIP windows, the runners aren't showing up in them!

That's really strange that it would clear up later in the game. I just installed it about an hour ago, and never got that far into a game before I became frustrated with it & quit. Maybe I'll try playing a whole game later & let you know.

Well, apparently the broken runner PIP windows was causing the glitch.

Kraw PM'd me, and said that while he didn't have the same graphical problem, he had to edit the datafile to make the runner PIP work. Substituting in his modified datafile not only fixed runner PIP, but also eliminated the big green triangle in CF.

You can get the fixed datafile here:

Runner PIP was the only thing he changed. Thanks again Kraw for the help!

I noticed that Dodger Stadium was very plain-The "Think Blue" read "Visitor",and all the pictures on the wall were gone.Did I install this file correctly?I then reinstalled Maddie's datafile and everything went back to normal.Anybody else notice this?

Awesome, thanks Chief and Kraw. I liked the datafile, but I couldn't get past not having the PIP. Thanks!

I am not sure what the problem is. I have been to Jacobs field... I always thought there really was a green mountain there. I am proud of the modders who actually duplicated this correctly ingame. They worked very hard to get it just right.
