I dont know if any of you notice... bu the Orioles are on of a very few teams that do not put there city on there away jerseys. Being a native of baltimore and and O's fan i would love to see an Oriole's away jersey with Baltimore on it. Any think they can do this or feel like doing this??? i would but i have no clue how to mod anything!

Yes there is some uni's with baltimore on there already.. i would like to see one on the current away jerseys with maybe a updated script. so pretty much take the same away jersey now and replace Oriole's with Baltimore(in an updated script compard to the older one on the game)

"Baltimore" on the away uniforms would be sweet! But, I'm not sure if you are going for accuracy or just modded uniforms. If accuracy, the Orioles will never again put "Baltimore" on their away uniforms as long as Mr. Angelos is the owner.

Nonetheless, I think it's a great idea! The black jersey with orange script would look very nice - like the Mets' blue "New York" script on their black jersey - only in a font similiar to Thome25's pic.

I completely agree. I can not stand Angelos and wish that he would sell the team. Im just a fan of the O's who would love to see Baltimore on the jerseys.

The black jersey would look sweet, maybe even an orange jersey with black script outline in white.

Thanks guys again for your help... i will learn how to do this one of these days.

You won't though, will you?

If you were that bothered you'd have used this a perfect opportunity to try.

And don't know why people haven't used this yet????

No worries

I love it when people can't even be bothered to do a little bit for themselves! And seeing as you've been a memeber nearly a year you should either know this stuff or know how to find this info! But you know better

All the best

Smelly doo doo guy

look man.... i have done searches and even searched each forum to answer my question of where to put the uni mods and i can not find them anywhere. and yes i have been a member for nearly a year but i have only downloaded roster updates and i have no idea where to begin with modding... im sure there's plenty of other people that are members and have no clue about modding MVP. but thanks for trying to help me anyway, maybe someone else can atleast point me to the right forum where it says where to put uniform mods.

have a good one!

If you are simply replacing a uniform, then you will be updating the models.big file that is in the MVP Baseball 2005data folder. If you are adding new uniforms, then the uniforms.big file in the MVP Baseball 2005datafrontend folder will also need to be updated.

What files did you download (biker_jim_uk removed the links to the uniforms he has posted in his earlier thread).

If you are simply updating the away uniform, then you would use the gfxpak utility to update models.big.

Assuming that you were running gfxpak from your MVP Baseball 2005 folder, Here is an example command that updates uniform 013b:

gfxpak -p datamodels.big f013b.fsh u013b.fsh

Most uniforms that you can download from the files section of this website have an installer included with them (either a .exe file or a .bat file).

When I've installed uniforms, I've usually used Fuzz' MVP Studio. Here's a link: http://www.mvpmods.com/index.php?name=Down...details&id=1381

When installing the uniform with MVP Studio, however, it requires 3 files -- the fxxx.fsh file, the uxxx.fsh file and a .bmp file that is the uniform preview that appears in the uniform selection screen of the game.

If you tell me exactly what files you downloaded (i.e. their names), it would be easier to give you the exact steps to install them.

Thanks Jim825 for that write up above. I downloaded the MVP Studio and all that and I had no clue where to go from there once i opened it up. But im going to try and use your link that you gave me above.
