tucker
I was tring to place a potrait for a player in mvp edit. I clicked on his blacked out potrait and tried to import a photo....it did not work .. There was an option under update portrait to "delete fsh" I did... Now when I click on the photo to update (which I don't know how anyway) I get a blank screen.....and no options....What happened? Can someone help me? All I want to do is replace or add some photos to players that will show up in the game....you can do this with MVP EDIT right? Also.. did I damage anything buy deleting the fsh within photo update ? tebjr
By deleting the .fsh, you deleted the players photo from you portrait.big file. The blacked out portrait is the alpha, you don't want to import a photo there. The alpha is what the game uses for transparency. Each photo in the game has an alpha. As far as damaging anything, no you didn't. That player just won't have a photo now.
tucker
Stick with me.... Do you know how I can get photos to show up "in the Game" using MVP EDIT.... I would be appreciative I am working on a huge project with TC5.... Also I had created 4 teams...erased their photo Id's so I would not have any photo in game.. (because the cyber I used was different than photo/aduio)... What would appear would be a Black Portrait...since I deleted on of those fsh files attempting to import a photo incorrectly all four of my created teams do not have any black portraits any longer.... So when you are "in Game" there is no blank or Black Portrait next to them (hope you understand) It was those players I created that I was trying to give photos to...now I think something is wrong? tebjr
In MVPEdit, click on where the players pic would go. It should sya "Add Picture" and "Add Alpha". Click on Add Picture and find the place on your computer where you saved the photo. But remember, the photo must be sized 128x128 pixels or in 2X it can be 256x256 pixels and it must have an alpha. What is the players photo/audio ID now that you erased them? If it is set to 0, then all the players that you add photos to with the ID O will have the same photo. tucker
I'm sorry thanks for your help...but as I said by just deleting ONE fsh file on one photo I feel it has had an impact on alot of photos.... I think I screwed up the 4 teams I created.... I'm a mess  Don't know what to do..........
tebjr
No, the alpha is an outline of the picture. The game uses the alpha to recognize transparency. Just about everything in the game has an alpha. There used to be a tutorial here that guided you thru the process on how to make a photo with an alpha, but the link I have doesn't work anymore. Maybe someone has that link avaliable. Basically, you will have the photo in the left hand box, and the alpha in the right hand box. Hope that helps. Also, most people use Photoshop to make their photos and alphas. Filthy57
That's why you need to add it in there.
