Dolfan349
Half the team has generic faces. It's really taking a lot of the realism away from the gameplay when half the team looks the same... Surely there are cyberfaces for the projected starting lineup? If there are cyberfaces included with MVP 06, why aren't they being used? I have no idea how to find the cyberface IDs because MVPedit fails to show me a list of cyberface numbers.
kgbaseball
That's the one gripe I have about MVPEdit; that it doesn't have a list of cyberfaces. Just in case you missed any players, here's my list of Marlins cybers: Joe Borowski, Y, 279 Miguel Cabrera, N, 514 Wes Helms, Y, 356 Mike Jacobs, N, 364 Miguel Olivo, N, 783 Scott Olson, N, 665 Yusmeiro Petit, Y, 700 Hanley Ramirez, N, 811 Todd Wellemeyer, Y, 501 Josh Willingham, N, 654 Dontrelle Willis, N, 235 Sergio Mitre, Y, 502 Scott Seabol, Y, 511 Anibal Sanchez, N, 827 I'd love to see a couple faces done, for instance Jeremy Hermida, Dan Uggla, Reggie Abercrombie, Brian Moehler, and Eric Reed
TheMadcap
I am looking into doing Reggie Abercrombie & possibly Jeremy Hermida. I saw Abercrombe play the other day & was highly impressed.
Dolfan349
Ah, those were the people I wanted faces for. You're telling me they don't even exist? Sigh... what generic faces do you use for those guys? I can't stand the generic-glasses face that is so overused. Here are the people I want faces for: Chris Aguila (I know I've seen a face for him) Brian Moehler Jason Vargas (he desperately needs one) A few of the relievers (Bump, Bowyer, etc.) Matt Treanor Those guys you mentioned would be good as well. Any suggestions on better generic faces to use?
jogar84
I have made one for Brian Moehler, but you guys are gonna have to wait for the new 2006 portraits come out- thats how cyberfaces get made in the first place for the other players.
Dolfan349
Hmm, good to hear. I'm using the MVP 06 mod, but I recently installed the UR version 5.3, and now a TON of players are using generic cyberfaces (not just on the Marlins) where I know they were using custom faces before (Chris Aguila, Ryan Church, Brian Schneider) My models.big is BigSchmooz's latest version. Pirate
There is an excel file that lists all the names. It is included with the Ultimate Rosters.

Dolfan349
Ok, so it's in the UR5.1+, but isn't that list of cyberface ID's old? Have there been any new ones since mid-January (when UR5.1 was released)? If so, where can I get THE NEWEST list of cyberface ID's? What I mean is, since I just downloaded a new models.big, surely that file includes new cyberfaces that aren't on the list included with UR5.0/5.1. I want to know which cyberfaces are new, and what their ID's are!

Ah, so there have been new cyberfaces. Is there any way to automatically assign cyberface ID's in MVPedit to the UR 5.3's, which are missing quite a few players' faces? By opening day, do you mean April 2nd or April 3rd?
Totte
Is there any way to automatically assign cyberface ID's in MVPedit to the UR 5.3's, which are missing quite a few players' faces? No, you have to do it manually. It takes about between 2-3 hours using the list I've compiled. By opening day, do you mean April 2nd or April 3rd? Hopefully Sunday (April 2nd)
Dolfan349
2-3hrs? That's what I figured. No big deal really, just thought I'd ask. Ok, will wait for Sunday! Thanks for all the effort you guys put into these rosters!
kgbaseball
I am looking into doing Reggie Abercrombie & possibly Jeremy Hermida. I saw Abercrombe play the other day & was highly impressed. That would be awesome if you could make those 2 guys! This is what my generic faces for them look like; as you can see, a cyberface is needed! Dolfan349
kg -- what generic face nubmers are those, and what unis are you using?
kgbaseball
I have all of Mo's generic faces installed, and the numbers are as follows: Reggie: Skin tone 11, hair style 8, hair color black, facial hair goatee, face 915 Jeremy: Skin tone 3, hair style 4(normal), hair color brown, facial hair none, face 904. As you can see, Jeremy has a goatee there, and ovbiously I have no facial hair. I think the face #904 autmatically comes with facial hair, and since he does have stubbles, it works fine un til there's a face made for him. Dolfan349
So do I have to install Mo's generic faces first? Or can I just make the changes you've listed in MVPedit?

Dolfan349
Install Mo's faces Ok, I install Mo's faces THEN make the changes in MVPedit. I'm new at this, bear with me.
kgbaseball
There should be 3 (I think) of Mo's downloads that you should put in. Also, once you install his mods, some people that don't normally wear eye black and glasses will have them. So just make the necessary changes once you see them in the game; it's not a big deal, really, but just something to be aware of.
Dolfan349
Three? Ahh... I downloaded the big one, with all the .fsh files. Not exactly sure how to import them with EAgraph, though.
kgbaseball
Just open up models.big, click import, find the files from the download, click next, and it should import them. I think they're already compressed, so that should be all you have to do.
