cut-off throw

I have a problem trying to cut-off a throw. For example, when my rightfielder throws to second I press the cut-off button but nothing happens. I am able to throw a relay throw, but that's not what I want. I am using a Saitek P880, and I have configured cut-off at button 8. Does anybody have a solution so I am able to cut-off a throw?

When using the cut-off throw, you have to push button 8. You can't push button 4 then button 8 and have the throw cut off. Or at least I do not believe you can.

first I push button 2 to throw to second and while that throw is under way, I push button 8 to cut off that throw. Only that doesn't work.

When you throw to 2nd base, where is the runner? If he's heading home or to 3rd, the cut-off man is not standing in the right position to cut-off the ball on a throw to 2nd base.

If there was nobody on base, it must be your controller config. Go to the controller config. screen, and assign the cut-off button to another button.

I had something similar before. I actually had to use another button to throw to the cut off man instead of what was mentioned. I think you

can also change the control pad for a button to compensate in

your set up program. I just got used to using a different button. It was changed from last years game (for whatever reason) on my control pad

I found a way to cut off throws. I pressed the relay button, and then (if the fielder is in the right position) will cut off the throw...:-) THanks all for your help!
