joshua444 Posted March 31, 2006 Share Posted March 31, 2006 With all the datafiles i have seen and tired to install it seems that all change my batting and pitching views...why is that?. I'm seeing some great datafiles that improves the game play alot...allowing a better variety of hits ie. bloop single or hits that can land anywhere or better player alignments. I would love to install these datafiles but it always overwrites my batting and pitching views which i love alot. Because of this i never install this datafiles and i don't know how to edit them to include all the changes minus the batting and pitching views. The batting and pitching view which i love alot but always gets over written was modded by SqueegeeDeadly called "s Camera mod 2005" but i suppose this isn't a popular one with most of you guys cause its never included in the new datafiles. I wish datafile makers wouldn't mess with batting and pitching views...cause the one that seems popular amoung you guys are like broadcasts views....this s Camera mod my SqueegeeDeadly gives a sense of being in the game thats why i love it alot. So maybe you mod makers could put this view into your datafiles...you probably won't but i'll ask anyways....mmm maybe i should of wrote this for the request forum:). Bama Posted March 31, 2006 Share Posted March 31, 2006 Joshua... Datafiles not only change gameplay settings but cameras too as i'm sure you well know. I would suggest that you download DFCompUtil and MaddiesDaddy's spreadsheet, both available in the download section. Then you can get SqueegeeDeadly's datafile and find the camera views (use MD's spreadsheet as a reference) and simply copy those lines into your favorite Datafile. You can then pull up each datafile side by side and it's very simple to copy the camera lines over to the datafile you are using.
