jse516 Posted April 3, 2006 Share Posted April 3, 2006 I've tried both and sadly I like both alot, but I think for me its a mood thing. With MD's the game seems to move a bit quicker, and the CPU pitching is very nice for impatient batters or beer drinking nights...lol but still retains a nice level of realism. Also the ball physics have a very nice mix of hard shots and bloops. With KSM's it seems batting takes a little more timing if you dont hit it on the nose you'll feel it, also I seem to draw alot more walks whie waiting for my pitch. Overall for me the games take abit longer. The only drawback for me is the ball doesn't seem as livley from the human side even with patience. Pitching is about the same I believe, I use -50 for Meter Difficulty and -50 for Pitch Control so mileage may vary. As I said before its a mood thing so i'm swithching between the 2. My advice try em both you can't go wrong!! Oh yeah MVP mods thanks for everything looking forward to the new season and Mod!! JaFFiTh Posted April 3, 2006 Share Posted April 3, 2006 I just tested out the MD datafile and sliders, i lost the game after having a 4-0 and 5-3 lead, they scored 2 on me by a 2 run homer in top of 9th. (cle and cws homeopener ) So far, i would say the gameplay seems nice but i don't know if everyone hits a hard shot eventhough it does have variety distances. I've gotten a couple or 3 hard liners which was pretty cool. The game moves a bit too quick in my opinion, almost like it's fastforwarding heh. I'm not sure, might try the datafile with the sliders I've used..i forgot who's..i think it was Pared's, not sure. Might test out hoop's sliders see if it's any better, if not..prolly back to pared's.
