Is there anybody that can tool around with the datafile to have more inclimate weather? Not just the wind.

I've started playing a Mets dynasty and in a weeks worth of games its always short sleeves and nice weather....That ain't realistic! It's friggin' chilly in the east coast till mid-May, I've got tix for Friday and we're likely gonna get rained on all day!

Anybody ever try to play G-d and tune weather changes?

can weather even be altered in the datafile?

I wonder what is in the datafile that has not been discovered or looked at yet.

I looked high and low and rain is not in the datafile or weather or sleeves.

Rain is tied to Safeco, SBC and maybe another somehow and will show up randomly.

Sleeves will only show up at night games with wind setting other than default, ONLY FRanchise, in April and Sept-OCt and only if you play against at the stadiums for Seattle, San Fran, Toronto and one other.

I wanted to see if I changed the stadium name in the Data folder to see if sleeves were tied to a stadium. This is what I did. For Total Classics the 61 Yankees have games at the Seattle Pilots in April. So, I renamed renamed Yanknite to Safenite, set the wind to 20 mph (does not matter as long it not default) and the sleeves show up but you are playing in Yankee Stadium. So as long as you are in a Franchise you can have sleeves but you need to rename your stadium to one that would have sleeves.

Audio says Welcome to Safeco Field - only problem but could be edited.

This is what you could do if you want to have sleeves in for example Shea or Yankee Stadium for your home games, day and night:

I will use Yankee Stad for this example:

1. Data Folder - Make a back up copy yanknite

2. rename yanknite to sbcpnite ( I chose sbcnite because the Yanks do not play San Fran, for the Mets use Safenite)

3. Go into game and select sbcpnite as your stadium and remember to change the wind speed in SHOW INFO to other than default.

Again the only problem is that the opening dialogue is "Welcome to SBC Park" I think this could be edited.

Once the weather warms up, you can revert back to the original stadium and have no sleeves.

I wish we could figure at least the sleeves part out to have it in any stadium.

so theres no way we could tweak the weather settings???? it has to be in some of these files... cause the weather in this game is BLAH all plain and boring
