problems with cyberfaces using the new model.big file

I installed the new Ultimate Rosters Plus update along with the newest uniforms.big and models.big files (all of which I love, thank you so much). No problems with crashing or anything, but I play with the indians and Grady Sizemore and Jhonny Peralta's faces are really messed up.

It looks like they have no face where they should and then parts of their face are stuck on the side of their head. Its very odd/disturbing. I PMed big smooz and he said that he has heard of this problem somewhere on the boards and its most likely a settings thing.

Please forgive me if this is posted somewhere else on the board, but any help would be appreciated. A fix for the problem or just sending me in the right direction would be awesome.

Thanks so much everyone.

There's not really much to say about it. The rosters have the correct settings pointing the problem to the models.big. I haven't heard of this issue before but use the search function in the forums and I'm sure you'll track down an answer. Good luck!

Totte... it's not the rosters setting. He means the game settings or the video card settings. I do remember reading about this issue on the boards. I just wish I remembered the solution that was posted. Somehow, V-sync settings on the video card comes to mind, but I may be off on that.

That could very well be it. Try playing around with your graphic card settings

Yeah I am almost postive its something with my video card settings. I mean it doesn't seem like a lot of people are having these issues.

I've been searching around but can't find anything. I mean I am sure its out there, but finding its the problem.

So if anyone out there remembers this or had the problem let me know.

Thanks

Its on now. Still no change though. other suggestions?

Try turning up your Anistropic filtering & your Anti aliasing on your video card. If that also doesn't do it, it has to be your graphics settings in the game. Try making them either higher or lower in the player details. (Fiddle around there.)

Btw... always keep the V-sync on.

If your video card AND your player detail settings in the game changes do not fix this, I don't know where else to turn other than to ask what type of video card are you using. It may be that you need to upgrade it. (then again it may not be the problem)

Gooma,

As soon as your models.big file has got more than 3,000 entries, gfxpak will no longer work. It has a file limit that can't be exceeded. Use EAGraph instead. Simply follow jogar84's instructions posted here.
