austin316hockey Posted April 6, 2006 Share Posted April 6, 2006 Ok, I hope the subject line is clear enough in itself, but I'll explain... I start the game the first time, and everything's fine. Then I exit the game, and it closes without trouble. Now, if I try to start the game again, it shows the splash screen, but then gives me the infamous "...has encountered a problem and needs to close..." message. I have to restart the computer before it will work again. Anyone encountered this? If so, what do I do to fix it? System Specs: AMD Athlon64 3500+ 1024M RAM GeForce 6800 PCIe Creative SB Live! big shmooz Posted April 6, 2006 Share Posted April 6, 2006 I know it's a shot in the dark, but it sounds like this may be a RAM issue. How much RAM do you have? Also... perhaps try turning off other programs you may have running in the background & see if this helps... Good luck.
