UncleMo
check that file called something like rally.dat or rallydat.big or something like that. open it up, extract all contents, convert from .asf to .wav, listen for all rallys. I think the indians is something like LET'S GO TRIBE! LET'S GO TRIBE. So you can replace that with WUMCHAN instead of using my tutorial and you won't have popping sounds. Won't help ya with WUMCHAN though. It is time you soar on your own. I'm out.

UncleMo
why are you guys messing with .rar files? I don't get it. I've never hard a problem with file types guys. I'd have to see what you guys are doing or get a step by step explanation of what is going on on your end.
MalibuKiller
were doing it like it is written in your tutorial but that problem is just a windows prob or somthing like that , its just not possible to remove the ".001"only if you do it in winrar thats all
UncleMo
Nah, I mean are these audio files already in a compressed .rar file? If so, they should not be in a compressed .rar or .zip file. Maybe you guys should be messing with the file that is .002 or .003, not the .001. Time for me to shut up now.
jbilich
I think what's happening is that the file that Splitter cuts down to the correct size becomes a .001 file. The other files which are deleted are .002 and sometimes .003. For some reason windows won't let you rename the .001 file and change the file type. Using WinRAR you are able to rename the .001 file and change its file type back to the correct format.
UncleMo
do you mean that when you look at the file sizes and review files .002 and so on, they are absolutely NOT the size that you told splitter to do? What is the file size, in megabytes? I may take a look at the unsplit file if you have it in .asf format. (maybe). depends on how busy i am next week. jbilich
It's really not that big a deal Mo because I did get everything working. Splitter does make the file the exact size I needed. It just turns it into a .001 file for some reason. It's not a problem...but for some reason renaming it in windows wouldn't work. So I tried renaming it in WinRar and it worked perfectly.
