I.Am.Canadian
Hey everybody, I'm working on a Blue Jays Photo Pack including A.J. Burnett, B.J. Ryan, Troy Glaus, Bengie Molina and Lyle Overbay. I just need to know how to make a blank fsh file, because the photoshop work is done. If someone could help me out I could probably release it in a few days! biker_jim_uk
why do you need a blank fsh?
Rabbit4Heisman
He's probably talking about the alpha.
biker_jim_uk
probably but he didn't say that ;)
I.Am.Canadian
He's probably talking about the alpha. Yeah, exactly. I need to combine the regular shot and the alpha shot into one .fsh file that can be installed easily.
I.Am.Canadian
Well, I'm done 3 images (Glaus, Ryan, Burnett). I should be done all of them really soon.
I.Am.Canadian
Yep, they're all done! So if someone could help me out with the fsh, I could upload it today!
big shmooz
Use MVPEdit to insert the files into your portrait.big file. Before doing so, open windows explorer to the MVPEdit folder. When you insert the bitmaps into the portrait.big, it will make the .fsh file in the mvpedit folder. Before going on to insert the next portrait, simply copy the .fsh file you see in MVPEdit folder to a different folder. This way when you go on to the next portrait you will still have the .fsh file. Keep repeating this step for every portrait you insert. Then compress the .fsh files using eazip with a .bat file & the .fsh files you have, all in the same folder. Then zip them all up & upload them.
I.Am.Canadian
K man, when I go into MVPEdit and import my dat files, it says "Run-time error '3163' The field is too small to accept the amount of data you attempted to add. Try inserting or pasting less data." What does that mean?
big shmooz
I don't understand what you mean by .dat files. Why are you trying to import .dat files to your portrait.big? Or do you mean you are trying to make an.mbe file out of your roster? If so, I am guessing that there must be too many players perhaps in your free agents. if that's not what's wrong, I don't really know. How many kb's are your bitmaps? I.Am.Canadian
Oh okay, I loaded the.mbe file from UR 6.0, and i can do it now. But doesn't MVPedit have problems with 2x portaits because my pictures insert when they are 1x, but not 2x. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, and I did what you said about getting the fsh file from the mvpedit folder. I installed it with Kraw's installer to test and it crashed! Man, this is complicated, but I'll get it eventually.
I.Am.Canadian
Ok, here's what I have for B.J. Ryan. This is a real headshot, not a superimposed hat. If someone can test it for me, just to make sure it works, that would be great. I've virus scanned it and it's all clean. Just get Hory's Oriole's Photo Pack just in case it crashes on you (to put the old B.J. Ryan back). Let me know if it works or it doesn't work, so I can fix it. Thanks! You have to first delete the current fsh you have. (unless your previous portrait is also 2x) Also, you need to make sure that "export 2x portraits" is checked in your mvpedit options in order to see the import you did with mvpedit. You also need to delete the .fsh file first if you are importing a 2x if the previous portrait was only 1x.

I.Am.Canadian
I'm happy that I finally got it out and that people who were having issues with my portraits have resolved their problems. Plus with this post I have reached the century mark!! 100 posts! That's probably not a big deal to you guys who get like thousands of posts, but still considering I've only been a member of this website for about 6 months, and I only started posting things in February, that's not too bad. I.Am.Canadian
Alright, I've just finished Sergio Santos and I will be updating my portrait pack to V1.1. I have also retouched the AJ Burnett picture (if anyone noticed there were two white bars beside his shoulders, that has been corrected in V1.1). I will also have screenshots inside MVP for all 6 players, not just 3 like before.
