bigballernation Posted April 9, 2006 Share Posted April 9, 2006 Hello All I want to play mvp 05 on the pc and use the mvp 06 mod. However the game for the pc is tough to find these days. Is there any where anyone knows of online where i can pay and then download the game? Alot of games now allow you to buy them online and just download them. Anywhere i can get this game? klon122 Posted April 9, 2006 Share Posted April 9, 2006 While EA has a digital distribution system, they're only using it for expansion packs to their bigger, more current franchises. Also, EA hasn't signed a deal with Direct2Drive, Steam, or any other digital distribution service besides their own. I believe EA feels that they can get their much of their profit and goodwill from the brick-and-mortar stores since EA's service doesn't have full games like Battlefield 2 or Madden 2006 available to purchase and download online. Add to this that MVP 2005 is now officially unsupported by EA as they've moved on with MVP NCAA 2006 and no longer has the MLB license. Simply put, there isn't and likely won't be any digital distribution options for MVP 2005. Have you tried online auction sites or are have the prices skyrocketed there?
