crashing after i updated to patch 5..with ur 6.0 plus

Hi everyone!

I installed the UR plus with big shmooz models.big and everything went great, I played a dynasty season opener game and went full 9 innings and saved.

my brother installed the game and i told him to get the latest patch(which i didnt have at the time),we installed the same files and method i used and his crashed in the middle of the game when hitting a ball down the line. it was a hard crash and crowd sound was still there but it just froze.

I decided to place my backup files back in and patch to version 5 aswell....then re-applied ur 6.0 plus with shmoozes models.big file.....this was so we could play over lan....things went fine for 6 innings and we quit.

i then decded to play a season game on dynasty and now im crashing.

things were fine when i only had patch 2 or 3 (cant remeber what patch i last applied)....im thinking patch 5 is causing this.

anyway i can revert back to patch 2 or 3...also after patch 2 was it just roster updates?

or do i have to uninstall the game and then patch to 2 then reinstall ur plus 6.0?

Just a word of warning -- Bumping your own thread is a sure way to get it locked by an admin.

If you want to downgrade from patch 5 to patch 2 (or 3), you're going to need to unininstall the game and then reinstall it (followed by the patch and the the rosters).

Patch 2 to Patch 3 was a roster update

Patch 4 to Patch 5 was a roster update

Patch 3 to Patch 4 was also a roster update, however, it also changed the format of one of the roster files slightly (the attrib.dat file). This is why the RGlass had to come out with a new version of MVPEdit (2006.2). The previous version of MVPEdit (2005.4) would generate an error message if you tried to import the Patch 4 roster files.

I've never upgraded past patch 2.
