Firstly, heyya all :wink:

Anyway, my "problem" is that I want to build my own stadium with all the delicious upgrades and I wouldn't like to spend much time playing the owner mode to get all that. So question goes: can anybody tell a cheat or a way to get fast money?

I'd really just like to make that stadium...

My strategy for getting everything in ten years.

1. Make a team full of young players that have 0 ratings at first. Sign them all to 7 year deals worth pennies and then change them back to having high ratings. After every 7 years create a whole new team this way so you always get cheap players

2. For the Pujols and Miggy's and all those great superstars, change their ratings to make them 0 for everything. Then resign them for very cheap and then change them back (easy to change back because 99 to 0 is one move and 0-99 is just 1 move.

Also a great way to make money is TO LOSE GAMES. Yes suprise isn't it? You have to lose a lot of games or have your division win a lot of games. If you can stay at 1st place with a 1/2 game lead or something you'll draw a lot of fans for every home game because you can lose it anytime. Playoffs make the most money so you NEED to make the playoffs. Here's my strategy

1. Choose large budget

2. Get the upgrade for stadium

3. Spend the last 1 mill on soda

4. Create 9 players on your team with my cheat #1 so they are cheap, signed to 7 years and all have 99 stats for everything - trade away every player on your team that's expensive for crappy 100k players and just bench them

5. Have 90-100 wins or something. Always watch out for the other teams in your division

6. Put prices down because high prices = less fans (unless you win a lot of games and have great upgrades)

7. After every home series use ALL of your money because road series are auotmatic for losing money.

8. When you buy stuff always buy concession or stadium upgrade, other stuff are decorations but dont bring fans.

9. In your first year season. WHENEVER, you get enough money to get the upgraded stadium do so. It will double your prices automatically because its that helpful

10. For playoffs DON'T SPEND ANY MONEY. In the playoffs you dont lose any money for road games so dont spend money

11. Raise playoff prices and end of the season prices. World Series can go to the max if you want...

12. Make sure to get home field also. Very important so you get more playoff games. WIN THE ALL STAR GAME SO YOU PLAY AT HOME FOR THE WORLD SERIES

13. MAKE THE WORLD SERIES, YOU CAN LOSE GAME 7 BUT MAKE IT TO GAME 7 SO YOU CAN GET ALL OF YOUR MONEY

14. After the playoffs i suggest you use all of your money or save up if you start at home. If you can get stadium upgrade GET IT

15. Get peanuts and soda. REMEMBER SODA IS VERY POPULAR. Get peanuts or popcorn or something like that to support soda

Do a Google Artmoney, then search this site for artmoney, there is a good thread that tells exactly how to use it.

And welcome to the site.

Also, in the download section there is Iggybo's create a stadium mod that has real adds, beer cans that replace the plain looking cola cans and it has other odds and ends. There is a day and night version, recommend it if you plan on playing at the create a stadium.
