D-134
I'm making some changes to the batter walk-ups, and when I try to change some of the ditties it gives me an "file too big" error. Always too many bits. So, am I doing something wrong? Do I have to delete the previous music first and how? Or is it something else? I'm using 6 seconds long WAV clips and transforming them into ASF, so it basically should work and IMO the filesize shouldn't be so big. Or am I wrong and not compressing the files enough? Help is appreciated. Thanks.
edm
if the sample format of the wav file (before you convert it back to asf) is higher than 22.1 kHz, 16 bits, stereo, down sample it to that.
D-134
Big thanks. So it's the kHz and bits that make the files too big? I was using 44kHz 16-bit clips so I guess that was the problem?
D-134
This goes more for the Ditty Importer than the WUMCHAN. I feel that no matter how much reverb I put when using the Ditty Importer it doesn't actually add any reverb? Because when I preview the sound clips in the DI it sounds good and you notice the reverb, but when I put the files ingame the reverb is gone. I tried with 64, 80 and lately 110 reverb and the result is zero. Is there known a problem like that with the Ditty Importer?
edm
I had the same problem. It would always sound fine while previewing it, but the reverb effect would never stick to the imported file. I'm not sure if I was doing smething wrong, but I ended up adding reverb with nero wave editor before importing it.
D-134
Thanks man. Very nice that you posted since now I can be sure that it isn't me who is doing something wrong. I shall also then add reverb manually. Thanks again.
