Ungo
I just recently got MVP 2005 for the PC (since MLB2k6 wasn't that great...) and I went out and bought the Saitek 2500 controller. However, I think I have a problem, that I'm sure you people can fix for me....When pitching, I can only move around the box with the D-Pad, not the joysticks. How do I change that? with the D-pad it is basically like using the keyboard, and the pitch never goes where you want. Help me!
themewin
Click the button next to the rumble button. Push it in and then it should become digital rather than analog.
Ungo
okay, then, I have a different question. The digital button didn't work, however I reinstalled the controller and it does now. BUT, I have to hold the joystick to where I want the pitch, and its very sensitive. if I let go, it goes back to the middle. Is this normal? The last baseball game I played was ASB 2001, and whereever you left the cursor it stayed...

Mimir
BUT, I have to hold the joystick to where I want the pitch, and its very sensitive. if I let go, it goes back to the middle. Is this normal? The last baseball game I played was ASB 2001, and whereever you left the cursor it stayed... I think I have same problem. My son came back to MVP Baseball after six month's absence and he claims the pitch cursor (set to fade) did 'stick'. Neither of us can remember how cursor behaved last summer. Using the left analog stick on my Saitek 2500 he would move cursor to pitch location, the cursor would fade, he would release left analog stick and pitch. The ball would go to the place where cursor faded. I use the past tense in this description... I was cleaning up system last weekend and deleted Saitek SST Programming Software and removed/reinstalled MVP Baseball. Basically I was moving game from from one hard drive to another. But I didn't delete drivers. After that, my son says cursor would no longer stick and he has to hold the left analog stick very still at location he wants to place ball. He's pretty reliable informant and I vaguely remember pitching inning or two last week and the cursor was 'sticky'. So I deleted Saitek drivers and reinstalled drivers and SST Programming Software. Sadly, pitch cursor is still not 'sticky'. If anyone has any clues/ideas how to make the cursor 'sticky' please reply to this. Thanks, Stanley.
