I wondered if someone might help point me in the right direction. I have MVP 05 for PC, and I'd like to install whatever mods exist to make it the best game possible. Updated rosters, graphical enhancements, and a mod to update schedules, if that even exists. What are considered the must-have mods? Thanks for the time. If you ask ten different people what the must have mods are you will get ten different answers. For me, Fuzz's Mvp Studio and KC's MLB uniform pack is a great place to start. pfalvey Posted April 10, 2006 Share Posted April 10, 2006 I would recommend the following: 1. The MVP06 mod: It is a combo of the best mods in one download and the place to start. It's a different game with this mod. I would recommend installing one of the EA patches (I recommend #3) before this mod. There are 2 versions of the mod, ILF & LL. They both do the same thing, they just install differently. 2.The mod comes with the UR (ultimate rosters) rosters, I'm not sure which version. There are updated versions of them on the site, however. You can also D/L Swingin Soriano's rosters as well. SS rosters differ in that they have accurate MLB rosters with complete updated player ratings but generally just the real prospects in AAA, while UR has accurate rosters with Total Minors, but the MLB player ratings updates aren't as complete as SS. I prefer SS, myself, but both are quality. Make sure you install the correct file of the roster, as there are different ones according to whether your game is modded or not. Read the readme. A few others to consider are the grasschanger to eliminate shimmering grass, progression mod and the free agency mod. These are the ones I use and are just the tip of the iceberg.
