D-Unit
besides taking a look at controller options and reassigning buttons, i have one idea that might work because it has happened to me before. during a game, when youre about to pitch, go to the controller option and change the control to make yourself the other team. Then unpause the game. Pause it again, and then change the controller back to your team. it might work. it might not. just give it a shot.
Jim825
What controller are you using? It sounds like the analog / digital setting on your controller is set to digital (i.e. you get one of two settings - either down the middle or all the way to the edge). There should be a digital button on your controller somewhere. My controller (Saitek P880) has an LED below the digital button. If the controller is in digital mode, the LED is on. If it is in analog mode, the LED is off. Make sure that you are not in digital mode. That should allow you to move the ball around.

benchwarmer
Hey, I have been through about 3 different logitech dual action/wingman/whatever_bla_bla_bla... controllers and I have always ended up with this same problem: Left analogue stick (pitch/swing/fielding location) ends up not tracking properly to the middle left. This problem may be related to the one you are experiencing. I may be able to give you some info on your problem, other than saying "Buy a Saitek P880" (I use one now...). That seems to be the best solution for now... What O/S do you have, and did you follow the installation directions that came with your controller TO-THE-LETTER? You would be supprised at how many people don't.... (I have been known to ignore directions from time to time...) Karl
