Ps2 Controller users please read (for pc)

I recently bought the adapter to let me use my ps2 controller on the PC from radioshack, works great .... except when fielding balls on the infield the analogs are way to sensitive.

Have any of you noticed this to?

What I mean specificly is this, you guys know how when you SLIGHTLY push the right analog towards the ball, the fielder will glove it in a "cool" fashion? Like not diving or basket catching , but he extends his arm to field the ball about half a second sooner ... basically gets you the ball a little faster in the fielders hand, and looks kinda neat. Well on the ps2 controller I can't do this anymore he just immediatly dives for the ball and it kinda sucks =/ Any ps2 controller users notice this to? Any way around it?

Are you able to do the thing I am talking about though? Where the fielder extends his arm to grab the ball picking it up just a tad bit faster then if you were to just run him into the ball?

If you are able to do the thing I am talking about where the fielder grabs the ball a little quicker vs running him directly to the ball (hope you know what i mean lol) , then what I am wondering is if theres any sensitivity options anywhere to change for the Right analog : ( My saitek p880 does it fine with no problem ... but ps2 controller feels so much better to play with lol. Conundrum =/

Did you install the drivers off the cd that came with the radioshack adapter ? I haven't hrmm perhaps thats the prob .

does your adapter look like that, with the blue on it? Or is yours completely black? I only ask because I bought both to be safe, haven't tried the blue one yet ... maybe thats better. I just used the the other type they had also, its all black and much smaller then the blue adapter. Just wondering which type do you have? I am hoping blue ; ) Maybe my blue will work lol.

Bleh just tried the blue adapter , same problem. It's like the R stick is so super sensitive in the infield, I can't get my infielders to just 1 arm grab the ball by lightly pressing on the R stick ... np with my p880 saitek doing that though. With the outfielders I can do it np on the ps2 bad , just seems more sensitive infield. Bleh your able to do it in the infield with no prob Kccitystar? You know what I mean right? Like you lightly press the Rstick ... not hard enough to dive for the ball, just make that cool animation(s) happen where the fielder kinda 1 arms the ball for a quicker grab right? You can do that on the ps2 pad? srry to be so repetitive lol
