how do you get a good profit in the first year? This is what I have so far:

my payroll is a little over 100 million.

i bought the first seating upgrade.

i bought a store that sells batting helmets.

how can i make good money on the first year?

Try Artmoney. It's cheating, but otherwise it's no fun.

artmoney is a tool. i had to ask to find out about it also. do a google search for download artmoney.

but how do you make it work? ive heard of it before and it sounds confusing. is there a thread that gives you like instructions or anything? someone told me about it before but i got confused.

there is but basically... you start a owner mode with large budget.... u minimize the game and open up artmoney.... you click the dropbox and select mvp baseball.... then, you type in the amount of money that your owner mode has such as 5000000.... it will search for that number within the game.... you choose the 1st 5000000... or it usually is on my comp.... change the number to whatever you want... you enter that in and maximize your game.... go look at the money you have and it should have changed..... this may be a little confusing, but it worked on mine.... there is a better tutorial.... search for it in the forums

I honestly found this in about 30 seconds...all I did was put "artmoney" in the quotations...
