Thome25
Make sure you got the vertical sync enabled in the video card options and in the game as well.

UncleMo
when all else fails, use another driver.
Manny_24
i changed both vsync... the problem is..if i go back to old 6.3 drivers some other games don't run smoothly (ex: doom3, quake 4, fear), mvp and nba live probably will go back to normal (nba live runs slaggy and mvp is too fast.. sounds crazy but this is it).. i would have to chenge display drivers for every game this sound crazy.. p.s. sorry if my english isn't that good i'm italian.. PolishJoe
I'm running the Catalyst 6.4 drivers as well and my game is pretty smooth, (knock on wood). Like UncleMo said, be sure you adjust your direct draw's refresh rate. To do this, follow these steps: Click START Menu Go to RUN Type in DXDIAG and hit "run" Select the last tab - MORE HELP Choose OVERRIDE Then, for the manual value, type in 60 I'm not sure if you already did this or not, but this did help address some other people's issues with similiar problems. - Good Luck

MikeGreenwell39
dont know if i have that version of Catalyst, but ive had my radeon 9800 run the game way too fast also...turns out it was a setting in Catalyst Control Center menu; there is a slider bar for video performance (if youre using basic view settings), the game was running too fast when the slider was set towards performance, so adjust it towards quality and see if your game runs at the right speed. hope this helps
Manny_24
i solved the problem, thankyou all for the help. @ mikegreenwell39: control center is "heavy" for the pc imho, i suggest you to uninstall it and use ati tray tools.
