roster19
I just downloaded loclook to edit various texts in MVP, but I get an error which prevents me from opening loclook. Why is it that I can't open loclook without getting an error?
PolishJoe
Weird. :? Did you download it from MVPMods.com? I've uploaded my copy to this post. I know it sounds really off the wall, but perhaps you had a corrupt download  Even if just for $hits and giggles, you might want to download the one attached. Just unzip it and double-click the application file to run it. Also, and this shouldn't matter, but right-click on a .LOC file and do an "Open With...." and point to the application file if it still opens with an error. Good Luck and post back with the results. :!:
roster19
Whether I open it alone, or with a file, I get this error: Component 'COMDLG32.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.
PolishJoe
Hmm... I think that file is not registered with your computer. Are you running WindowsXP? There's a fix for this issue, but unless you're running WinXP, I don't want to compound any issues with your computer.
sundiego
I know this is a pretty old thread, but am hoping someone found an answer to this. I have been going in circles in the faq's and forums not finding any help. I get the same error message. I am running win xp. Can anyone help? Also, am I hallucinating or was there a program which allowed you to stream a winamp playlist while you played the game? Thanks in advance. chris OK - if there is anyone left who hasn't found this solution. Don't search for loclook - search for the com...ocx file. You have to dl that missing file and register it. Here is the link for the external site where you can dl the file. Instructions to walk you through are there as well.
edwindelahiggins
I read a previously posted answer to this that said to download it and search 'IOU' from the loclook.exe file, but when I run it it get 'runtime error 52' bad file name. Anyone know how I can fix this?
