big shmooz Posted April 17, 2006 Share Posted April 17, 2006 I believe that if you make contact with the ball in the cold zone it will make it less likely that you hit it in such a way that will get you a base hit. You may pop it up more, or hit it more directly to a fielder, will not hit the ball as solidly etc... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
