Jim825
When I go to the datafile folder the only file in there is the .big file. There is no .txt file. The datafile.big file is in the MVP Baseball 2005 data database folder. The datafile.txt file is in the MVP Baseball 2005 data folder (i.e. not in the database folder). If you can't see a datafile.txt file in your data folder, then you don't have one and there is nothing to delete.
D-Unit
so if there is no datafile.txt file there (i dont have it), how do you restore the pitching meter?
Dan21tn
so if there is no datafile.txt file there (i dont have it), how do you restore the pitching meter? Just replace the datafile.big with the old datafile.big. This is in your data/database folder. The original datafile.big is on cd 1 of your official mvp 2005 CD , in compressed.zip. If you need help opening a zip file, use "Winzip " or "winrar" programs. Very simple to use you'll know what to do in about 1 second of opening it with these progs, just extract and enjoy ; )
cruecu
i know most of this thread is about the size of the green zone, but i like that challenge..my problem is with the pitch type corresponding to the button on the controller i'm using (ps2)..is there a custom pitch thing that says which pitch corresponds to which button..or could someone tell me which pitch is #1, 2, 3, etc...so i can set it up under controller config..i'm used to the console versions, but love the 06 mod, so i've switched over..just trying to get used to the changes..thanks
turma
I agree that I occasionally miss the old pitching but when you think of it no pitcher in the world is that accurate. The game now feels more realistic and challenging.
