WinnieThaPujols
This is really starting to get on my nerves. I love playing online, but the game like MAKES you select automatically baserunning and it's a joke. While you can still advance/retreat runners on your own, it's like the game has the final say. For instance: I'm playing my cousin today. For whatever reason I picked the Cubs. I singled with Zambrano. I stole second, and while trying to prevent the steal, my cousin airmailed one into centerfield. It went all the way to the wall. Zambrnao got to second and I frantically hit towards third base. He would take a couple steps off second and then go back on. So I had a guaranteed run stripped away from me. This has happened other times, too, like when I've wanted to send a runner home on a double, but the game like takes control and prevents me from doing so. To be frank, it's asinine. I know I want baserunning on manual, but is it possible to do this online? Thanks, Frustrated

WinnieThaPujols
Do you understand the problem I'm describing? It's like I'll try to advance but it's like the computer is overriding my decision. Like another example would be a situation like this: runner on 2nd base, 1 out. I hit a slow roller to the third baseman. I'll try and advance the guy from 2nd to third... then my cousin, controlling the third baseman, will give chase to the guy trying to advance. Instead of continuing forward, the baserunner will turn back on his own to second base without me pressing anything. This often results in him getting tagged, and then my cousin still has enough time to throw to first for a quick double play. Maybe I'm hitting one of the top buttons when something like this happens, but it happens so frequently that I think something is wrong. Also: I am playing IP to IP...
