JoeRudi26 Posted April 22, 2006 Share Posted April 22, 2006 Every August the Little League World Series plays out in Williamsport, Pa. It's something I have always loved to watch, and it just hit me the other day about possibly requesting the Howard J. Lamade Stadium, or possibly Volunteer Stadium, both of which are located in Williamsport. What would be even better, would be to somehow mod the character models to Little League type players, accurate uniforms, player ratings, small aluminum bats, and so on.. Although HIGHLY unlikely, and because I know of no Little League Baseball game for the PC (other than Backyard Baseball), it would be awesome to see Little Leaguers from different states and countries, drive one over the 210' left center field fence. Since I'm almost positive this is impossible to do with MVP 2005, I would settle for one of the stadiums, just for fun. Which again, might be impossible or just too time consuming. Since the walls would have to be moved in drastically, I'm not sure how much use it would be without other modifications to players and such. What fun it would be if it was possible. MarkB Posted April 22, 2006 Share Posted April 22, 2006 Well, Spring Training Stadium 3 is pretty small, so that might be a good base. Replace the backgrounds and move in the walls and it's two-thirds of the way done already. I'd love to try another stadium, but I simply don't have enough time. As for the rest, I'm sure someone designed aluminium bats before for the college mod for '05 and I'm pretty sure that an updated sound was uploaded so that instead of the ball hitting wood sound, you'd have the ball hitting aluminium sound (the "ping"). Editing the player models would probably be the hardest part, as I don't think anyone has done this with any level of success yet. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
